These classes are accessible to anyone & everyone - whatever your age, fitness level, or mobility - and use slow, gentle movement to increase your self-awareness and help you re-train your brain to make you move more easily, efficiently, and comfortably.
Whether you suffer from back pain, neck pain, sore hips or other conditions, or whether you ‘just’ want to explore how you can learn to move with more freedom & feel more at ease in your body, these classes are for you!
We will focus on how movement in the centre of the body is crucial to efficient movement in the periphery, and also to freedom from aches & pains that can plague us or flare up.
This block of 7 x 75-minute Essential Somatic Movement classes is designed to introduce you to Clinical Somatics and the movement practice initiated by Thomas Hanna and developed by Martha Peterson.

NB: This class will not meet Tues 11th June, so last class will be Tues 16th July.
