This Essential Somatic Movement workshop will provide a brief outline of how clinical somatics works to bring awareness to muscle tension & the problems it causes (pain, stiffness, anxiety & more). There will be time to ask questions, and to let me know (if you’d like to) whether you feel you have problems or discomfort in particular areas of your back, and if so where and what helps - and what doesn’t help - you feel better.
The workshop will incorporate 2 full-length classes, as well as time for a cup of tea!
In the classes we will use slow, gentle, easy movements to explore the muscles of your whole body - including those involved in full breathing - and latterly, move to shift our focus to accessing & releasing tension in the different areas of your back.
£25 per person - please book ahead as places are limited (maximum of 5 people per workshop).
Suitable for anyone - whatever your age, gender, level of fitness and mobility.
